Compilation News: 25 Years of Anjuna – Mixed by James Grant out on Anjunadeep

Anjunadeep’s landmark compilation, 25 Years of Anjuna, stands as a testament to the label’s profound influence on the electronic music landscape over the last quarter century. From its origins as the deep and melodic offshoot of Anjunabeats, Anjunadeep has grown into a global touchstone for emotive, forward-thinking house music. Over the years, it has cultivated an international community of artists and listeners who share a deep connection to melodic storytelling on the dancefloor. The label’s sound, often described as warm, introspective, and timeless, has shaped the trajectory of progressive and deep house, solidifying Anjunadeep as a guiding presence for both emerging producers and seasoned veterans.

For this twelfth entry in the Anjuna25 series, co-founder James Grant distills a quarter century of music into an immersive three-hour journey. Each track is a carefully selected gem, reflecting the label’s ethos and its evolution across eras:

“Distilling 25 years of Anjuna into a single mix was a pretty daunting task and one which took me a while to wrap my head around, which is probably why I was so late to deliver it, just before the turn of the year. I was never going to be able to keep the mix down to an hour or two, so please grab yourself a cuppa and settle in for three hours of listening. I’ve tried to cover a lot of bases in the mix, spanning various eras of the label and including a good number of hidden gems alongside some of our more celebrated releases. But the common thread for all the inclusions, I hope, is that they capture the true feeling of Anjuna over the last quarter century. Thank you for supporting us on the journey so far and I hope you enjoy the mix." James Grant
