Artist, producer, DJ and cosmopolitan Peggy Gou announces her long-awaited debut album. “I Hear You” will be released on June 7, 2024 via XL Recordings. The album is the conclusion of years of work by the Korean-born artist, who is celebrated by her fans in underground clubs, off locations and large arenas. Peggy Gou is now one of the most sought-after electronic music artists and DJs in the world. Her single "It Goes Like) Nanana" became a worldwide hit and for many the soundtrack of a long and hot summer. At the end of 2023 she released the collaboration with Lenny Kravitz "I Believe in Love Again". With "I Hear You" Peggy Gou enters is now taking the next level of her artistic work and diving deep into the house music of the 90s.

Coinciding with the album announcement, Peggy Gou releases the new single "1+1=11", an anthem for open air festivals that stands for "togetherness" and will unite people on dance floors all over the world. "1+1=11" also features the first music video by renowned Icelandic-Danish artist and long-time friend of Peggy Gou, Olafur Eliasson. Eliasson, whose world-famous works - including "The Weather Project" (2003), "The New York City Waterfalls" (2008) and "Ice Watch" (2014) - are often inspired by natural systems, physical experiences and also movement, a discipline he fell in love with as a teenage breakdancer, directs and stars in the video. The video premiered in Berlin at a party hosted by Peggy Gou, where a personally assembled DJ line-up including Spray, fka.m4a and Matrefakt played.
