MUSIC NEWS: Loud Luxury closes out 2023 with dance pop anthem ft. charlieonnafriday: ‘Young & Foolish’ via Armada Music

As an unforgettable year for Loud Luxury comes to a close, the Diamond and multi-platinum selling duo are ending 2023 with a bang. Today, the pair are back on Armada Music with an anthem for those who remain wild at heart: ‘Young & Foolish’ featuring breakout singer-songwriter charlieonnafriday.

Premiered live at EDC Orlando, ‘Young & Foolish’ celebrates the carefree moments in life, building upon Loud Luxury’s signature sound that seamlessly blends infectious melodies and electrifying rhythms for a true dance floor heater. The track embodies the spirit of youthfulness and the exhilaration of embracing the unknown, calling for fans worldwide to take the new year by storm and make memories to last a lifetime.
Loud Luxury says, “2023 has been unforgettable. We’re ending the year strong with a record that feels PAINFULLY realistic about an average night out – and not to mention a great way to ring in 2024. Looking at the final song, we know there is something in here that everyone can relate to – making bad decisions that you wouldn't change for the world.”
On working with charlieonnafriday, they add: “charlieonnafriday is an artist we’ve been following for the last year, and we’ve played so many of the same colleges together that it was only a matter of time before we teamed up. From the first time we were in the studio together, we were adamant about this track being fun, but brutally honest. We wanted to describe the highs – and lows – of growing up.”

About charlieonnafriday

“I’m living this life to the fullest,” says charlieonnafriday. The 20-year-old singer/songwriter has achieved several hundred million streams, collaborated with superstars like Macklemore and Lil Tjay, and is currently supporting Tate McRae’s global tour. The Seattle born-and-raised, LA-based charlieonnafriday began recording songs in his friend’s basement after football practice. “From the very jump, it always revolved around doing it for fun,” he recalls. With over 100 million streams, his breakout “After Hours” focused on that idea. “That song gives off the vibe that we’re here; we don’t want this night to ever end. charlieonnafriday is somewhat of a musical chameleon — He’s collaborated with rap mainstay Lil Tjay on 2023’s “Same Friends,” was a featured artist on Macklemore’s BEN, and maintains a diverse range of style and influences. “Some days I wake up, and maybe a little bit more of the love for Country comes out,” he says, pointing to a recent Nashville stop. “Maybe I’ll find a Young Thug-type beat and make a straight-up rap song. It always comes down to me making what I like and feel like making at that time.” Upcoming drops honor vintage pop samples in a new, refreshing way and merge country with trap drums. charlieonnafriday continues to maximize his moment. He has a set vision for his music, brand, and message. “You only have so long to live here. Have fun, do it right; every day is a Friday.
