COMPILATION: 20 Years Armada Music Remixed incl. 30 brand new remixes

The album is spearheaded by Armin van Buuren’s tenth anniversary remix of his Grammy-nominated hit ‘This Is What It Feels Like’

As Armada Music’s twentieth anniversary year comes to a close, the biggest independent dance music label in the world is putting its finishing touches on a year of celebrations with a legacy-spanning remix album: ‘Armada Music – 20 Years (Remixed)’. Spearheaded by a special tenth anniversary remix of Armin van Buuren’s Grammy-nominated hit ‘This Is What It Feels Like’ (feat. Trevor Guthrie), '20 Years (Remixed)' offers a fresh take on thirty of Armada Music’s all-time classics, truly embodying the scope of the label’s work over the past two decades.

The collection of remixes reintroduces some of dance music’s most treasured classics through modern interpretations from today’s scene leaders and underground champions, including fresh reimaginations from artists such as Anna Tur, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Victor Ruiz, Joris Voorn, Marsh and more. Some of the tracks have already been making their rounds on the circuit, such as DJ Daddy Trance’s remix of Lock N’ Load’s ‘Blow Ya Mind’, KREAM’s remix of Three Drives on a Vinyl’s ‘Greece 2000’ and Young Marco’s remix of Chicane’s ‘Saltwater’ featuring Moya Brennan.

The remix album follows the Armada Music – 20 Years Classics documentary series, the release of a limited-edition box set with four vinyl records comprised of Armada Music’s greatest hits, and the label’s largest ADE program to date, all to honor the legacy of dance music and its most seminal artists and hits. The album comes in tandem with this year’s launch of BEAT Music Fund, the first-ever dance music investment company with a mission to reinvigorate dance music’s most legendary catalogs and tracks through optimization and creative promotion.

Echoing the label’s proven track record of elevating dance music classics in today’s landscape, '20 Years (Remixed)' unveils two decades of dance music exploitation and gives an exciting glimpse into Armada Music’s drive and dedication to continue innovating for many years to come.

About Armada Music

Armada Music is the biggest independent dance music label in the world. Founded by Armin van Buuren, Maykel Piron (CEO) and David Lewis, the label manages an ever-growing catalog of over 40,000 tracks, built up across twenty-plus years of specialized dance music exploitation.

Representing artists such as Armin van Buuren, ARTY, D.O.D, Eelke Kleijn, Jan Blomqvist, Loud Luxury, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Tensnake, THEMBA and Yulia Niko, Armada Music amasses more than one billion streams per month, airplay on leading radio outlets such as BBC Radio 1 and Sirius XM, and top positions in the world’s most notable charts. The label also takes great pride in major achievements such as Armin van Buuren’s GRAMMY nomination for ‘This Is What It Feels Like’, Loud Luxury and Brando’s ‘Body’ surpassing one billion streams on Spotify and breaking artists such as Lost Frequencies into global stardom.

Across offices in Amsterdam (HQ), New York, London and Laren (NL), Armada Music offers a truly global appeal to its growing roster. The label has its own club, radio studio and multiple production studios, and hosts various live formats. Producer platform Armada University, which offers educational products and opportunities, shows the label’s sustained effort to nurture the next wave of talent.

In 2023, Armada Music launched BEAT Music Fund, the world’s first dance music investment company, that acquires catalogs with the mission of honoring, representing and reinvigorating them. BEAT’s portfolio will continue to grow; in the first six months following its launch, BEAT acquired the catalogs of, among others, electronic music star ARTY, house and techno pioneer Kevin Saunderson’s KMS Records, legendary NYC-based house label King Street Sounds and chart-topping producers Chocolate Puma.
