Dreamstate is launching the first installment of its newly formed series with 'Convergence Vol. 1,' featuring exclusive offerings from Triode, Stoneface & Terminal, Lostly, and Sherano.
Pulling together some of the most established and up-and-coming forces from the trance scene, the Convergence series will serve as a contact point where artists come together to showcase their strengths in compilation form. The inaugural edition sets the standard high with its four stellar tracks, bringing legendary and buzzing names into the fold.
San Francisco-based producer Triode leads the package, teaming up with lauded singer-songwriter Linney on an uplifting vocal-led number titled “Dance In The Stars (With You),” dedicated to their late friend. Veteran duo Stoneface & Terminal demonstrate their expertise with “Sigma Tau,” an instrumental creation carrying an ethereal and mesmerizing quality.
Next up, South Africa native Lostly diverts the energy over to the headier end of the spectrum with “Liquid NRG,” a dark tech-infused concoction fueled by lysergic leads and a thumping groove. Closing out the affair is Holland’s Sherano, returning to the label to make his follow-up appearance with “Endless Desire,” an enthralling progressive-powered piece marked by pitched-down vocal hooks and a moody, emotive drive.
