Rapidly rising duo atDusk unveils their debut artist album 'MAGIC HOUR,' a stunning 13-track LP showcasing their future-facing take on trance music.
Since giving birth to the project during the final leg of 2021, the production pair atDusk have been quickly assembling a growing catalog of music that finds them intertwining classic trance elements and video game culture into tracks that strive to push the genre towards the generation. Launching with their inaugural single "Nerf This," the track drew immediate support from tastemakers across the board, and coincided with their festival debut performance at Dreamstate SoCal within a couple of weeks of its release. Since then, they started to cement their sonic identity with follow-up singles "Poggers," "Rabbit Hole," "SMURF," and their most recent "RAID" collab alongside the mighty Ruben de Ronde.
The duo is now ready to reveal the full scope of their artistic vision with 9 unreleased tracks, each of which display their incredible range and the production prowess they have established from their own solo careers for the last few decades. "TEMOC" and "Lucid Dreams" are two of their solo creations, and the remainder of the album finds them teaming up with vocalist and production talents from the likes of Nitrous Oxide, Daniel Heatcliff, This Culture, Daneil Wanrooy, Funabashi, and previous collaborator JordinLaine.
On the focus cut "Search Light," they enlist the lush vocals of fast-rising singer-songwriter JordinLaine to create a heartfelt progressive trance record about leaving the light on for a lost loved one to find their way back home. Jordin's radiant, hopeful topline is illuminated by ethereal pads, lofty chords, euphoric melodies, tumbling synth fills, and a pulsing bassline pushing the momentum along.
