REVIEW: Kyau & Albert - Always out on Anjunabeats

Kyau & Albert return to Anjunabeats with their latest single, ‘Always’.

Germany’s Ralph Kyau and Steven Albert are two of the most experienced figures in the trance community. The prolific producers are the owners of the famed trance label, Euphonic Recordings, which they launched in 1997.

Kyau & Albert first met Above & Beyond at ADE in 2002. They made their Anjunabeats debut with ‘Velvet Morning’ in 2004, and since then have made many timeless contributions to the label, including 'Beehive', 'About The Sun' and 'Tube Hearts'. The duo celebrated their 25th anniversary last year with several releases, including a ‘25 Years’ compilation, four singles, and five EP’s.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Kyau & Albert  is the beloved and most consistent duo in trance legacy. Their releases coming in the most important record labels and their remixes adored and considered to be classics. Now on Anjunabeats reveal the next chapter of their career. Always is an illustration of their fantastic sound design as they incorporate influences from all the current sounds predominant in the clubs like techier raw basslines, pounding percussion and hypnotic tribalish rthythm. The breakdown is characterized from the uplifting euphoric synthy stabs along with the cool Always vocal snippets. The build up leads to the festivals friendly climax full of pounding percussion, techy basslines and hints of the melodic elements. The final result is an impressive single that has the word classic written all over it. #PureGold Love iT [/content]
