We’re super stoked to finally welcome all of you in the Arena in Amsterdam again for our 10th anniversary. On the 22nd of October we’ll be 40.000 strong from all corners of the globe and we couldn’t wish for a better way to celebrate this important milestone with you. Together with dance music’s biggest acts, from Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix and Tiësto to Afrojack and Nicky Romero we’re sure this will be an evening that goes down in the history books.
As we’re looking ahead at what the next decade will bring, we felt it time to sail a new course. Together with DJ Mag we’ve announced 10 #1 DJs and celebrated some of the biggest moments in electronic music. However from this year onwards we’re ending this chapter as the Top 100 returns as a broadcast show in a separate event. The closing of this chapter of our story with DJ Mag opens the doors for us to be more creative in what we do during the night – expect a spectacular show celebrating 'A Decade Of Dance'. We are looking forward to the next 10 years of AMF!
DJ Mag Managing Director, Martin Carvell, said of the change: “After a decade of incredible events during ADE, working with our partners ALDA, this year we will be celebrating the Top 100 DJs with a broadcast show. We have made the change so that we can celebrate more of the DJs who are part of the Top 100 DJs around the world, while continuing to reflect the global nature of the voters. It allows us to bring our charity partner UNICEF into full focus, and to make sure that the Top 100 DJs show reflects the values of DJ Mag as a publication.”
