ADE 2019: Roland returns to ADE Sound Lab

The Japanese manufacturer and distributor of iconic electronic musical instruments will once again be present at this year's ADE Sound Lab with its latest instruments and hardware.

Another addition to ADE Sound Lab is that Roland will be back again at this year's ADE. The brand will be setting up an extensive gear testing area at De Brakke Grond in order to present their latest range of instruments.

Visitors will also be able to try out some of the brand's newest gear including the DJ Controllers,TR-8S the SH-01a, TR-08, D-05 and SE-02 boutique synthesisers and their newest Roland Cloud Plugins. Delegates can also chat with product experts and Roland artists, all of whom can answer your questions and guide you through the various flavours of Roland's music-making experience.



In addition to this, Roland will be running an interactive masterclass to discuss how Roland gear has been used in a range of creative situations. Last year the company invited artists including Dub FX, who explained his live setup, Nacho Marco discussing integrating studio hardware into a DJ set, A Guy Called Gerald and his live improvisation techniques, Egyptian Lover who hosted an 808 Masterclass, and appearances by Bloody Mary and Paula Temple.



ADE Sound Lab
ADE Sound Lab features intimate and revealing talks with major figures from the electronic scene, with formats such as ADE MusicTalks, The Record Bag Of... and Studio XL. In previous years the program welcomed the likes of Antal, Colin Benders, Jameszoo, Jayda G, KSHMR, Lena Willikens, Martin Garrix, Nina Kravitz, Nile Rodgers, Octave One, Orbital, Philip Glass, Richie Hawtin, Rebekah and Xosar among many others. 

ADE Sound Lab also features the annual Demolition panel with moderator and DJ Dave Clarke alongside a panel of top DJ talent, demo pitches and audiovisual installations, plus a broad range of hardware and software brands to try out.
