Chris SX started his carrer as deejay in the late 90′s, when he was very young. With his great ability he travelled through countries like Germany, Switzerland, Italy,… to play his music in the clubs and festivals like Trance.Mission, Rave Culture, Clubtraxx and many more.
Chris is really keen on music and technology since he was a very young guy and after some years of deejaying he started producing his own tracks. With the first Single ‘Illuminate’ he entered the Swiss Top 20 Dance Charts and only some months later, he topped the Chart position with his Remix for ‘Seikos – Gotta get up’ by climbing up to Position 5.
Chris is the Producer of many tracks, both under his own name and under different pseudonym, like M.A.S.T.E.R., Tiberium Sun, Chris de Boerg and many more. And he is also requested as a remixer of course.
Dimitris: Can you mention your biggest music career achievements in 2018?

1) Best 3 Tracks from other artists in 2018, please give us a short comment for each track:
Chris SX: That's a really hard one to choose only three
1. Paul van Dyk ft. Plumb - Music Rescues Me
2. Sean Tyas feat. Katherine Amy - Twilo
3. Simon Patterson ft. Lucy Pullin - Fall for you
2) Your 3 Best of 2018 personal productions, give us more background info about them:
Chris SX: 1. Chris SX - Intro the sunrise. For Into the sunrise I focused on this classic pure trance feeling. I think you can hear that this track was produced throughout the summer.
2. Chris SX - Destiny. Destiny was initially a film score at a much lower bpm and translated it afterwards to a 140bpm banger.
3. Chris SX - Feel alive. Feel alive was my first vocal tune. The psy influenced bassline with the female vocals was something different from my usual stuff but worked very well.
3) Best Artist in 2018(DJ & producer) please explain why you pick him/her up:
Chris SX: Paul van Dyk, As a producer he delivered a great album. His passion for music and energy behind the decks is unbeatable.
4) Best Remix in 2018, please explain why you liked it so much:
Chris SX: Dogzilla - Dogzilla (Alex Di Stefano Remix)
Alex had a totally different approach to the original. The vocals reminded me a little bit on the golden era of the Scot Project, Kaylab Hard Trance tracks. Very powerful hard hitting tune that I had on repeat for days.

Chris SX: Paul van Dyk - Music Rescues Me
Trance music in all of his variations with great collaborations. I like the concept of an album as an artist. You can tell a musical story and experiment with different styles and artists.
9) Best electronic music compilation in 2018, please explain what exactly you liked about this compilation(the elements you appreciate):
Chris SX: I didn't listen to any compilation in 2018

13) Best electronic music label for 2018, please justify why you choose this label and what was so special in 2018 about it:

20) Best technical tips that you learnt in 2018 in relation to your DJing or music productions:
Chris SX: You never stop learning and I learned a lot in 2018.
Dimitris: Do you have a radio show or vlog? Have you produced any YouTube tutorials for fellow artists to learn from you? If yes please tell us here the details and choose the best episode from your radio show/vlog/YouTube tutorial for 2018.
Chris SX: Launched my new monthly Podcast in November called New Dawn.
Dimitris: In 2018 there was a big movement for revival of classic tracks and retro events have boomed with music policy of solely classic tracks. What is your opinion about events or stages only with classics and can you choose for us your absolute 3 favourite classics?
Chris SX: I think there is nothing wrong with classic events/stages. But to much classic events with the same deejays playing the same song on every gig is not how it should be done.
There are so many top classics that it's hard to pick the ultimate top 3 but this are some great tunes:
L.S.G.-Netherworld (Oliver Prime Remix)
Energy 52 - Cafe Del Mar (Marco V Remix)
Chicane - Saltwater
Dimitris: Can you mention briefly your plans for your future releases, tracks, albums, collaborations, DJ gigs for 2019!
Chris SX: A few tunes are already in the pipeline and I want to release more frequently than in 2018. Hopefully there is some more progress on the DJ side.
