Future Urban Legends returns to ADE to showcase some of the most popular Dutch artists.
The Urban scene in the Netherlands continues to grow. More and more collaborations between artists and DJs make Urban music even more diverse and interesting, which partly led to the first edition of Future Urban Legends in 2017 at the Ziggo Dome. For their second edition, they are taking their event to AFAS Live.
During the event, you can expect live acts of Ronnie Flex, winner of the NPO 3FM award for best album. He will be accompanied by, amongst others, Boef, SBMG and Jack $hirak. He will also be featured during ADE Beats, together with Yung Felix talking about their international moves during the panel Going Global with Jack $hirak and Yung Felix. The live acts will be supported by the beats of Abstract, who was recently active as opening act for Jay-Z and Beyoncé. Their last mystery act has just been revealed and is Dutch rapper and MC Bizzey. You can also sail along with Bizzey during Bizzey in de Club Boat Party on ADE Wednesday.
The large increase in popularity can also be seen in the range of urban-related events within the ADE program. The conference track ADE Beats is the place to be for a full update on the state of urban bass and beats worldwide, the full ADE Beats program can be found here.
In addition, urban is also heavily incorporated within the ADE festival program with multiple events during the day. For example, the Hip Hop Brunch's at the Cut Throat Barbershop and Rimboe Riddim at the Waterkant on ADE Friday.
