REVIEW: Konektiv - Universos / Aria out on Pure Progressive

10.0
Overall Score

After a hiatus of several years since his astonishing debut album ‘Synchronicity 365’ on Molecule, Daniel Mahuad is back with two 120bpm cuts of his inimitable & unique progressive sound, refined for contemporary sound-systems. Think experimental & intuitive sound-design, immersive & intelligent arrangements, club-friendly fat bass lines propelling filtered drops & swells – and you get the picture. Welcome back Konektiv.

Konektiv - Universos / Aria10

Summary

Konektiv provides two excellent works of art that will become part of your digital collection without second thoughts. Aria and Universos are moving within the deep haunting trance territory with Aria being the more melancholic track with esoteric moody synthy lines and superb airy pads and atmospherics that create the very special harmonious spiritual sound that is therapeutic like acupuncture. Universos is the more anthemic of the two with orchestral strings, melodramatic build ups and excellent layering of the various melodies in order to build the impressive sonic gallery that includes wonderful pieces of eternal happiness and self-discovery. #PureGold Love It
