Seven Lions returns for his second release of 2018 with 'Ocean', a project with Anjunabeats standout Jason Ross.

'Ocean'- features Jonathan Mendelsohn on vocals, and is a step closer towards the sonic landscape found on Above & Beyond's iconic dance imprint. Huge swells and lengthy builds are full of Ross' filmic textures, aptly juxtaposing the melodic, bassy growl of Seven Lions.

'Ocean' is the second release on Seven Lions' own independent label, Ophelia. The collaboration with Jason Ross marks the first collaborative project on the imprint, and also one of the rare producer collaborations in Seven Lions' career (the last one being the seminal 'Rush Over Me' with Illenium and Said the Sky).

Summary

When Seven Lions and Jason Ross collaborate the result can only be extremely impressive. Two great tracks with totally different angle and sound. The Ocean features the stunning vocals by Jonathan who always manage to grace with his voice any superb lyrics he performs with his very deeply touching voice. If you add on this the dubstep emotional sounds that create truly cinematic experience then you feel tripping out deep in the Oceans. The Sirens on the other hand is an explosive mixture of psy trance with dubstep to melt into one two very popular styles in USA. Cinematic atmosphere along with razor sharp basslines, thumping grooves and brilliant dubstep breakdown with breaks, synths and strings to create an intense journey that seems to win the hearts and minds even if you don't feel affiliated with both genres of psy and dubstep. Two unique and glowing tracks that break boundaries and move forward! #PureGold Love IT
