REVIEW: Jeremy Olander - Crossed / Araoz out on Anjunadeep

Hailed as a key figure in the revival of the progressive house sound, Stockholm’s Jeremy Olander makes a long-awaited debut on Anjunadeep with a pair of trademark melodic weapons on ‘Crossed / Araoz’. Having been championed by the likes of Sasha, Eric Prydz and John Digweed, Jeremy has carved out an impressive path over the past few years with his distinct brand of emotive house music, seeing him deliver a string of Beatport chart-topping releases on imprints like Suara, Bedrock and his own Vivrant imprint.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"] Jeremy Olander is brilliant artist and his EP for Anjunadeep is on the high standards that we expect from his studio lab. Crossed is superb deep melodic progressive house journey with bubbly grooves, rolling deep basslines and haunting synthy hook that sounds melodramatic and mysterious. Within the breakdown the melodies become more prominent and upfront adding extra tension and intensity. The result radiates certain sadness and sweet melancholy that instantly makes the difference. Araoz moves on the same direction with more optimistic melodies, upfront deep basslines, pounding drums, percussive melodies and colorful touches that relax and encourage you to keep on dancing at the same time. The word beautiful too small to describe the content of this EP. #PureGold Love It[/content][/review]
