Handpicked by curators Jody Wisternoff & James Grant, the pair offer up four memorable moments from this year’s flagship ‘Anjunadeep 09’ compilation. Featuring a selection of the label’s freshest talents, the sampler introduces Anjuna debutants Kieran Apter and Leon Power, Fairchild, Savvas as well as marking the return of Aiiso.
Following on from his debut solo outing with ‘Your Love Is An Echo EP’ earlier this year, we welcome back Russ Davies a.k.a Aiiso to the label with his spacey and atmospheric ‘Gravity’. Next, Edinburgh-based Kieran Apter and Leon Power offer up the mellow, vocal-laden track ‘Drifting Spring’, while rising US producer Fairchild brings new energy with the bass-driven ‘The Light In You’. Rounding off the EP on a more contemplative note, Greek DJ and producer Savvas presents his tranquil ‘Nostalgia’.
