Whirlpool Productions 20 years ago conquered the charts. 1st place in Italy! Top Ten in the Benelux countries! "From: Disco To: Disco" was surprising hit for the Cologne experimental electronic music trio. In fact, Eric D. Clark (the San Diego-based pianist and gospel vocalist), Justus Köhncke (studio professional and biggest Chic fan) and Hans Nieswandt (Spex editor and bassist) just wanted to work on their LP "Dense Music". The Veuve Cliquot was already open, Köhncke started this beat at the Can-Studio in Weilerswist, the R & B samples sung "Looove!" And Eric D. Clark improvised over a piano motif he had sung in his head for years: "From disco to disco, town across town, everybody is trying to get down! "
