REVIEW: Eugene Luu, Danny Fathom & Brandon Michaels - Kensho out on AERYS / Armada

9.5
Overall Score

As can be expected of an AERYS release, this one hits like a jackhammer. A team-up between Eugene Luu, Danny Fathom and Brandon Michaels, 'Kensho' makes use of its serene breakdown to reel fans in only to inflict maximum damage afterwards with its gated synth partitions and thumping bassline. If you want power, you've got it.

Summary

AERYS is at the forefront of melodic psy tech trance movement and the latest release by Eugene Luu, Danny Fathom & Brandon Michaels called Kensho exemplifies the sound you expect to get on this very new but so much happening label. Kensho is powerful and energetic with psy trance sharp kick and basslines with dominating drums and dark rave synthy stabs. The breakdown is so sweet and beautiful with nice strings and orchestral music influences followed by huge synthy hook that will uplift you straight away. The climax abandons this very strong melody and goes all the way psy tech with focus on the bassline and the rough side. #PureBassPower Check IT!
