REVIEW: Maor Levi - Returning / Universal out on Anjunabeats

Having returned to his trance roots throughout 2016 with the likes of ‘Made Of Fire’ and ‘Dynamic’ (alongside ilan Bluestone), Maor Levi completes the year with the impressive double A-side ‘Returning’ / ‘Universal’.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Maor Levi is considered as one of the finest talents in trance music and we long awaited for his return.  Returning / Universal are the two tracks included in his latest EP that has caused already great interest. Returning is a straight forward energetic super pumping big room electro trancer with razor sharp fat basslines, pounding bouncy beats and superb melodies along with vocal chops that add the heavenly dimension to the final result. The breakdown is ethereal as we wanted to be perfect to wave hands in the air while the climax is rougher with punchy beats and euphoric synthy stabs. Universal is a magical pure full on big room banger with breaks like intro followed by electro tech first part that leads to the long and travelling breakdown with mesmerizing synths, piano melody that crawls under your skin and cool female vocals that create certain emotional attachment. The climax is euphoric with banging drums, basslines to die for, stop and go effects and synthy stabs along with that Anjunabeats melancholic touch on top. Highly recommended. #PureGold Love It [/content]
