REVIEW: Lostly - Heading Back EP, The Remixes out on Mental Asylum

One of our biggest release of 2016 gets a second lease of life thanks to two cracking new remixes. Earlier in 2016 Lostly delivered t us a great EP featuring "Heading Back" and "Du Bist Okay" and both tracks are back with avengeance thanks to remixes from Allen Watts and Allan Morrow.

Allen Watts has taken the powerful uplifting "Heading Back" and fattened it out into a meaty tech trancer while keeping the main uplifting lead. Similarly on "Du Bist Okay" Allan Morrow has kept the main lead but completely reinterprets the breakdown and flips the drop with amazing results.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Lostly is one of Germany's top trance talents and 2 of his biggest productions get the update by two exceptional talents in the industry.  Heading Back is remixed by Allen Watts in a very hybrid direction. He combines heavy metallic basslines, pounding rough drums, plenty of acid overtones on top and great breakdown with massive feel good synths and heavenly voices leading to a crazy bassfocused section until the nice melodic section appears to give you the chance to celebrate life.  Du Bist Okay is remixed by Allan Morrow who knows what he is capable for as he delivers a dark moody powerful hard trancer with plenty of bass roughness while the melodic breakdown has that nice inspiring touch to elevate you a little bit more. His drop is uncompromising with some very cool synthy  snippets within the maddening tech trance bulldozer sequence. #PureGold Love It   [/content]
