REVIEW: Solarstone - Herald incl Transwave remix out on Black Hole recordings

1. Club Mix
2. Transwave remix

Just when you thought that summer 2016 had delivered in every conceivable way… here’s Solarstone to make absolutely certain of it!

This year’s already seen the Pure Trance master lift dance-floors and gift radio shows and streaming platforms with Lost Hearts – his spring-released, chart-scaling anthem. Cut from much the same harmonic cloth as ‘Hearts’, early September heralds Herald - its seasonally sonic, summer-concluding compadre!

If you’re an extra-avid observer of the Solar-verse and Herald sounds just a tad familiar, well your ears don’t deceive you! The track has held a longer-than-average place in Solarstone’s ID arsenal - ever since in fact he debuted it at the frontend of his Transmission, Prague set, 18 months back.

Transwave mix
Sinuously powerful in undertone, melodically ebullient in its overarching top-end, it’s also unendingly epic in nature and of course classically Solarstone in cut. Along Herald’s glide path you’ll find powerfully struck strings, aerodynamic synths, fluid FX and a slipstream of calling female harmonics.

Having enjoyed something of a renaissance recently courtesy of heavy support from John 00 Fleming, Transwave did their magic here on Solarstone's latest melodic offering, with a firing-on-all-cylinders remix that remains faithful to Herald's musical message whilst taking the energy level up several notches.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]When it comes to real emotional uplifting melodic super trance size tracks the artist you must look out for is Solarstone. His latest creation Herald is epic anthemic trance at its most gigantic proportions. The production is very classy and will stand out from the crowd without doubts. It starts with nice ambient intro that sets the scenery for what it comes in the main course. Pulsating driving basslines, rolling full on drums, acid overtones and of course the heavenly angelic female voice with that slightly opera touch that turns this track into a sonic fairy  tale. The melodies and the whole arrangement has great flow and can carry away thousands of trancers to far away spaces and mysterious places. All you need is crystal clear sound system and imagination that must be left free and unrestricted. Second version in the package comes from Transwave who service an incredible version that combines  psy trance influences with uplifting trance in a very delicious and utterly euphoric recipe. Energetic driving basslines to the core, rolling razor sharp psy trance kick drums and incredible application of the superb melodies and progression until to reach the oblivion and beyond. If trance is not just entertainment then Herald is for you. #PureGold Love it[/content]
