REVIEW: Robert Vadney & Chris Oblivion - Lost Language out on JOOF recordings

We have something gorgeous with an acidic eastern flavour with a nod in the Psy-Trance direction here from Robert Vadney & Chris Oblivion. The track has hints of Tangerine Dream and Federation to it, which can only be a good thing, right? It's a persistently driving, building chugger of a track, one to draw dancefloors into an intense groove and then lock them in. Additional features include hypnotic male vocal snippets and some beautifully New Order-esque guitar. The 'Stripped' Mix removes some layers and focuses more on the twittery acidic groove, keeping things dark and mysterious. Immersive.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]The uber talented and well known globally Robert Vadney and Chris Oblivion collaborate for the mindblowing anthem Lost Language on JOOF recordings. The original mix that I prefer is a powerful melodic driving acid psy pumping trancer of the highest quality. Incredible driving sharp basslines, thunderous rolling drums, exotic oriental melodies on top and fantastic breakdown with haunting guitar melody and very nice indie rock style vocals. Packed with wealth of sound layers and emotional touches the original mix should be considered as trance classic. The Stripped version as the title suggests focuses on the acid overtones and the rough basslines and pulsating grooves that pushes the track forward and hypnotize the listener. Acid trance is back on track! #PureGold Love It [/content]
