Eight teams will compete for the trophy, with RA, De School, Dekmantel, Rush Hour, Numbers 10,000 HOURS and The All Stars, all money raised will be go to Help Refugee.
After recent announcements about our collaboration with The Dutch National Opera and the ADE Green program, we turn our focus to a special event.
Football will once again be returning to the gym of Amsterdam night-spot, De School during this year’s ADE. It won’t be children kicking balls around the former school this time however, as Resident Advisor will be hosting the 5-a-side tournament with eight teams comprising of leading music figures, all in the name of charity.
Kicking off on Thursday October 20th, the football tournament will take place at Het Gymlokaal - De School’s gymnasium. Eight teams will be compete to be crowned winners, featuring Resident Advisor, De School, Dekmantel, Rush Hour, Numbers (with Jackmaster), 10,000 Hours and an all-star squad featuring Dixon. All money raised will be go to Help Refugees, a grassroots organization set up to help the most vulnerable reaching Europe's shores. In 2014 RA helped to raise over 100.000 euros for Bridges for Music with a The Road to ADE Cyling tour.
The tournament will be open to members of the public at €5 entrance. As well as the football, there will be a record fair, with performances from various DJs. The event will also be streamed on Resident Advisor’s Facebook page. Kick-off is at 10:30 AM, with the semi-finals scheduled around 1:30 PM.
