REVIEW: Gareth Emery feat. Janet Devlin - Lost out on Garuda / Armada Music

Building on the momentum generated by lead single 'Reckless' feat. Wayward Daughter and the infamous 'CVNT5', yet another sublime team-up from Gareth Emery's '100 Reasons To Live' album rises to spotlight the British dance music pioneer's renowned production prowess. 'Lost' has Janet Devlin's captivating voice at the heart as Gareth Emery's melodious composition revolves around it, forming a whirlwind of emotions and striking lyrics while retaining its radio-friendly traits.

Add the batch of club-ravishing remixes from Adam Ellis, Carl Nunes, Ferry Corsten, Project 46, Super8 & Tab, and William Black, and you know this is the kind of music a global audience gets 'Lost' in.

[content title="Summary" label="Overall Score"]Gareth Emery is back with Janet Devlin on vocal duties for Lost. The track in the original form is a driving melodic progressive trancer that focuses on Janet's excellent vocals that she performs so beautifully that leave you breathless. Great classy production that shines in any dj set. The legend Ferry Corsten provides a powerful and old school proglifting remix that recalls the sound of his classic trance projects like System F. This version adds energy, dynamism and of course massive feel good hands in the air climax. Carl Nunes remix moves on the progressive direction with cinematic breakdown and glowing energetic crescendo moments. William Black offers the dubstep version that is spacey and tripping out to the maximum. The fragile vocal upon the aggressive distorted basslines sounds really  earth shuttering. Project 46 version is Swedish melodic prog house at its most fascinating and sparkling. Super8 & Tab add their magic in the mix and deliver the powerful electro trancer with freaked out basslines, pounding drums and ethereal melodies perfect to support the beautiful Janet to stand out! Finally Adam Ellis proves that he is breathing and living uplifting trance with feel good makeover and synthy riffs that will please your ears and energize you the whole night! #PureGold Love It [/content]
