Joe Garret aka Temple One has been beavering away at his own brand of emotional & driving trance music for some years now, and this latest piece is plucked from the track-list of Pure Trance Vol. 4. In its original format the track is built around a lush string arrangement & a gorgeously infectious stabbing synth riff. Ordinarily that would be enough of a quality record to hit the stores, but this package also includes a breathtaking deep progressive trance remix from Slam Duck (who also featured on Pure Trance Disc 1 with ‘Leaving Places’). Slam’s remix is a masterclass in the deeper side of the Pure Trance sound, it’s something of a two-part production which ebbs & flows with real class & sophistication. The result? Two polished mixes, one solid release.
Dimitri Kechagias review: Pure Trance recordings is all about the purest forms of trance music in wide variety of forms. Temple One is definitely one of those artists that can be considered as pure trance artist with every release from his hands becoming pure gold item for his fans worldwide. Santiago is straight forward uplifting trancer with that Ibiza feeling written all over it. Energetic basslines that will not pass unnoticed on any dancefloor, pounding fat drums, sharp kicks and magical breakdown with balearic harp guitar riffs, cinematic orchestral music strings and mysterious spoken vocal samples. The climax is euphoric as you can get and start shouting with excitement with hands in the air and wide smile in your soul. Slam Duck transforms the original into something completely different but still pure trance. All the elements from the original are expanded and for 8.27 minutes we are carried away from the floating arrangement, pulsating deep brooding basslines, techy drums and heavenly female voices along with the spacey effects and the chill out themes. It's one of those tracks that grows inside you every time you listen to it and you feel that you discover new elements in it so to listen once is never enough! #PureGold 10/10 for both mixes Love it
