Most recently, the nominees were announced for the BBC Sound Of 2016 Poll and Dua Lipa is one of them. The number of winners from previous years goes by Sam Smith, Years & Years and Ellie Goulding to Adele and clearly shows the importance behind this nomination.
Dua Lipa is just 20 years old, but already her life appears to have full control. The singer-songwriter has been living since the age of 15 on her own and for 4 years full time working on her careers. The Ten Ven Remix was premiered as a Track Day at Clash music and corresponds to the self-image of the maker quite accurately: "Somewhere Between house and techno".
With "1 Bad Bitch" (in collaboration with Ripley vs. Zebra Katz) enterte Ten Ven the house scene: worldwide DJs played the song, including Annie Mac and Pete Tong in her famous Radio 1 show. This was followed by successful mixes for i.a. Lana del Rey and Klangkarussell. Ten Vens EP was released by Noir Music and has been hailed by techno and house greats like Steve Bug, Manuel De La Mare and of course Noir personally.
