REVIEW: twoloud & Kaaze - Maji out on Revealed recordings

Big room collective Twoloud have teamed up with rising Swedish star Kaaze to make their collaborative Revealed Recordings debut - “Maji”, available November 20th. On “Perfection”, “Higher off the Ground” and “Right Now”, Twoloud set the dance music world alight with a heady mix of euphoric beats and energetic melodies, whilst Kaaze sent sizeable waves through the genre with a series of excellent remixes for renowned artists such as David Guetta and Nicki Minaj, alongside his own fantastic productions such as “Street Rebel”.

“Maji” sees the producers synergising their respective talents to craft a thumping, vibrant and kinetic combination of big room scope and percussive sensibilities. “Maji” alternates between clattering, forceful rhythms and introspective ambience, whilst finding time to seamlessly weave huge drops into its expertly constructed soundscapes. On their previous collaboration “Color Pop” Twoloud and Kaaze hinted at the excellence this partnership could yield, but “Maji” goes even further and confirms the fantastic combination as one of the highlights of 2015.

With support gathered from some of the biggest and brightest names in the genre such as Hardwell, Avicii, and Tiësto, Twoloud and Kaaze have joined forces to generate some of the most exciting music of the year. On “Maji”, their Revealed debut, they have confirmed their respective dance music credentials and marked themselves as a collaboration to be reckoned with – catch it from November 20th onwards.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Things are always exciting and superpromising when twoloud are involved in a tune along with the upcoming talent Kaaze. Maji is a powerful Latin infused anthem with tribal drums, aggressive full on danceable basslines and exotic vocal samples. The breakdown is surprising as it includes big rock guitar riffs and amazing hands in the air colourful synths to blow your senses. The drop is tribal, big room, unique and maddening to the fullest!
