Having come second in a recent series of the BBC hit talent series “The Voice” as well as then going on to collaborate on numerous hits with the likes of Gareth Emery, Kryder, Chicane and Simon Patterson, Bo Bruce is a name that is already widely known in the music industry today.
Here she makes her Perfecto debut teaming up with Trance veteran Greg Downey to produce “These Hands I Hold” - a sublime remake of an uber hot track taken from her first artist album “Before I Sleep” on Mercury Records.
This is a melodic monster with blissfully spine tingling vocals layered on beautifully energetic beats.
Already snapped up for use as an exclusive on Simon Patterson’s recent Ministry of Sound – Trance Nation 2015 compilation, the original is now joined by a delicious collection of remixes from some of the hottest names on the label.
First up, Paul Oakenfold’s Future House remix follows on in the style of his recent hit with Angela McCluskey that saw four consecutive weekly plays on Pete Tong’s BBCR1 Essential Selection. This is a radio and club friendly interpretation for fans of quality house music.
Trance heavyweight Sean Tyas makes his debut on Perfecto with a stunning peak time high energy makeover while Johnny Yono returns with an epic trademark melodic feast in the flavour of his recent successful “Poison Whispers EP”.
Roddy Reynaert does what he does best delivering a high quality progressive chugger that will surely reach far and wide this summer.
A huge release in time for the festival season - enjoy!
Dimitri Kechagias review: Perfecto records is the celebrated legendary brand that has been associated with quality influential recordings only. It is not a deviation from that rule the brand new anthem These Hands I Hold composed by Greg Downey with top vocal performance by Bo Bruce. The original mix is an energetic prime time progressive trancer with big room tendencies. Chunky techy grooves, rolling drums and superb flexing basslines while the more melodic emotional part including the breakdown is packed with warm cinematic strings, indie rock like guitar riffs, euphoric synthy riffs and superb Bo Bruce exceptional performance that shines followed by massive big room tech trance infused climax. Paul Oakenfold Future House Remix is magnificent future house beauty with great application of the main vocal merged with the bouncy ravey 90's infused basslines along with heavy stromping drums to make it perfect for the right and exact drop. Sean Tyas is doing what he knows best and he service a wonderful uplifting trance remake that follows the euphoric uplifting trance style faithfully with the edgy underground touch that is aggressive, rough with heavy doses of acid but very colourful and uplifting to the maximum. Johnny Yono is one of the new trance producers that you should keep an eye on and his remix proves his ability to turn anything he touches into gold. His superb elastic flexing basslines, bouncy fat grooves and anthemic synths deliver the very powerful and totally adrenaline charging hit record that many mainstage festivals djs will pick up easily and bring magic on the floor. The last remix on the package is by Roddy Reynaert who delivers his fantastic spacey progressive trance version that is deeper, haunting, mysterious and very melodic with psy influences and great airy atmosphere with warm pads and haunting basslines. The result is simply magnificent! #PureGold Love It
