With close to 15 years of activity in electronic dance music, Daniel Wanrooy has enjoyed the status of being one of Netherlands influential producers since his debut in 2001. His original productions appeared on the legendary Black Hole Recordings, the prestigious Spinnin, High Contrast, and Magik Muzik among many notable others. In fact his sharp original productions landed 5 times on his compatriot’s “In Search of Sunrise” compilations (Compiled & Mixed by Tiesto). Daniel Wanrooy was also given the honor to mix the landmark “In Trance We Trust” series. “Places To Go” marks Daniel Wanrooy’s second original release on Dancepush. His first release on Dancepush with Jordan Kaahn “Nothing To Lose” enjoyed support from BT (A State of Sunday’s Sirius XM Radio), Judge Jules (Global Warm Up), Markus Schossow (Tone Diary), and more. Darkox is an up and coming producer from the former Yugoslavia who started exerting influence into dance culture by producing video visuals for Avicii. He remixed a number of releases for Dancepush and with “Places To Go” makes his original debut. With “Places To Go” both of these international DJ’s/producers from different corners of the world unite to blend their musical talent in one quality collaboration of a result. The kick drum is pounding with electro edgy sharp basslines creating that tribal Latin infused groove and uplifting rhythm that make you want to dance instantly. The breakdown is truly luscious with mesmerising vocals about the many places in life that we can go I guess with the help of music followed by beautiful piano melody that brings summery feel good spaces and places in your mind like Ibiza or Crete in Greece.
