Dimitri Kechagias review: Magic Island is the top label headed by the legend of Balearic Mr Roger Shah. The latest release is the fantastic collaboration between Ari Kyle & Audioscape. The EP includes two great tracks. The first one is called Last Day which is a wonderful deep progressive trance meets house balearic style anthem with bubbly tribal grooves, punchy pulsating basslines, summery piano melodies and cinematic strings. Simon Latham vocals are wonderful and they add certain 80's UK electro pop feel to them with singers like Marc Almond coming to my mind. The climax is euphoric and celebratory perfect for the big club moments and those unforgettable days when your favourite football team wins and all the fans celebrate together. You can only thing Ibiza thats for sure. Resolution is the instrumental offering in the package. Emotional energetic progressive balearic trance that injects you will plenty of adrenaline that explodes out of proportion in the electro house infused drop following the very deep and touching sweet and calming breakdown. The euphoric synthy stabs come to the forefront to extend the anticipation with break beat like part.
