REVIEW: Thomas Gold feat. Kate Elsworth - Colourblind (Matt Nash & Dave Silcox Remix) out on Revealed recordings

German heavyweight Thomas Gold made his impressive label debut on Revealed Recordings in 2014 with the vocal masterpiece ‘Colourblind’. Having enlisted Australian songstress Kate Elsworth to illuminate further his shimmering melodies with an unforgettable vocal topline, the pairing took ‘Colourblind’ to the thrilling position of #2 on the Beatport Progressive House Chart.

Making their return to Revealed since 2012’s huge ‘Hearts’ release with Tom Preppe, Matt Nash & Dave Silcox pummel even more power to the punch, injecting ‘Colourblind’ with a new lease of life for 2015. Analogue-sounding synths take favour over the original piano notes, slinking through the groove before dense melodies come into play, where Nash & Silcox’s weighty build-up adds a chopped and screwed peak, prior to bringing Elsworth’s beautiful vocal back to the forefront.

Premiered in the first episode of Revealed TV on the label’s Creamfields special and receiving explosive support across radio and social media channels already, expect to hear this set-defining edit out in the festival fields soon. Grab your copy of Matt Nash & Dave Silcox’s ‘Colourblind’ remix on Beatport, February 27th.
