REVIEW: Matthias Leisegang - Let You Go out on Motor Music

Since Matthias Leisegang already built up a reputation as Berlin local DJ under the synonym Ibiza 43, he's just about to confirm his performance as a producer. With his second release for the talent factory Motor Music he lines up another potential hit EP in his discography, proving his keen sense for driving grooves and euphoric vibes again.

"Let You Go" comes up as a real prime-time killer! The fully-blown modern sound design with its tight claps, snappy hi-hats and the powerful driving square bassline aims perfectly on the dance floor and already emerges sunny flavours with its ecstatic vocals. The EP is rounded off by two remixes that add, each by it's own funds, another facet to the release. While Robert Es shifts the focus to his dreamy bouncing chord progression by slightly reducing the beat, Stephan Funkmann adds with a hypnotic groovy touch to the template by subjoining his tribal percussion elements.

The EP by Leisegang, Es and Funkmann impressively proofs the fact, neither house-music nor the dancefloor knows big names – Just big tunes. A real secret weapon!

Dimitri Kechagias review: The top record label Motor Music presents the true deep house hymn Let You Go by Matthias Leisegang. The package includes three exceptional versions to choose from. The original mix is a magnificent deep house beauty with old school 90's influences and superb sexy male vocals that invite the listener to become part of the action and enter the dancefloor arena. Hypnotic, warm, melodic and tender is definitely super classy. Robert Es Remix is  wonderful version with tribal techy grooves, deep haunting basslines, emotional strings, great synthy hooks here and there and no vocals for the non vocal lovers. Stephan Funkmann Remix is equally strong with techno grooves, dark pulsating basslines that massage your body and great application of the soulful vocals. It sounds like #PureBerlin sound to me! Love it
