REVIEW: MaRLo feat. Christina Novelli - Hold It Together out on Armind

Following a swathe of chart climbers on ASOT, MaRLo makes a storming return onto Armind with his debut original on the label – ‘Hold It Together’.

Making an impressive joint venture with British singing sensation Christina Novelli, this duo have created the complete trance package filled with ethereal vocals and chords to tug at those fragile heart strings.

As if that wasn’t enough, MaRLo's very own Tech Energy Remix provides the listener with a much darker, up-tempo take on an already brilliant release.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The Dutch born but Australia based dj & producer MaRLo is considered to be the next big thing in the trance scene. His productions are the highest quality that you  can think of and of course the impact of his track on the dancefloors and charts is obsolete. MaRLo delivers music that the big room trance crowd adores particularly on the mainstages of the huge  festivals.  His latest release comes on Armin's van Buuren beloved label Armind and you can easily guess that stands out from the crowd and has the warm hearted support by Armin in his dj sets around the world. MaRLo on this track collaborates with the awesome singer Christina Novelli who has collaborations with the most important trance artists worldwide. Hold It Together is a powerful emotional big room progressive trancer with bouncy tribal drums, aggressive vicious hard style influenced basslines and superb synthy hooks that uplift your senses. The breakdown is the glorious moment that the full vocal comes to the surface and the magnificent Christina break our hearts and touch our soul deeply with her highly professional performance. She feels every single word that she sings and that is recognised from the army of her followers. The remix comes from MaRLo who names it as Tech Energy remix and is true that for this one abandons his rough aggressive basslines for a much more tech trance approach that recall the Dutch trance anthems of the mid 2000's. The breakdown is sensitive and melancholic while the climax is euphoric and dynamic to the core. MaRLo is on the rise and he definitely deserves every little bit of his success. #PureGold Love It
