Exactly 50 releases ago (PRFCT017), Perfecto Records saw the of “The Heart Speaks”, Kenneth Thomas’ monster vocal collaboration with Colleen Riley.
This re-release sees an update courtesy of Art Deko who adds his unmistakable high-class production, fresh from his successful revisioning of Paul Oakenfold and Angela McCluskey’s “You Could Be Happy” which saw support from the likes of Tiesto, Michael Woods, Cosmic Gate and Tritonal to name but a few.
Causing a stir in the progressive scene (in the more traditional sense of the genre) is Philthy Chit who brings us a far darker take on the vocal and an altogether more progressive trance based remix and an evil one at that.
Last but definitely not least, after bubbling away for some time and having stand out releases on the likes of Anjunadeep and his own label Ifonika, Roddy Reynaert excels with his remix, bringing a nu-disco / progressive house sound.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Kenneth Thomas featuring Colleen Riley delivers The Heart Speaks that is considered to be a modern electronic music classic. Now in 2015 Perfecto records unleashes the beats of 3 very fantastic remixes. Firstly is the superb Art Deco who transforms the original into a huge epic progressive house bomb with slamming basslines, thunderous drums and superb melodic breakdown with piano chords, cinematic strings and the stunning hair raising performance by Colleen. The drop is straight forward epic progressive house slammer with punchy basslines and euphoric anthemic synths. Philthy Chit presents his deep progressive house version that is dark and superbly moody with certain Middle East musical influences. Driving and energetic basslines, thumping drums and synthy layers building the tension slowly until to reach the breakdown that the vocal is allowed to shine while the climax moves into a very dark and twisted climax with distorted synths. Lastly Roddy Reynaert Remix is the coolest you can get on the package with great hybrid of deep prog house, dreamy progressive trance with even some nu-disco futuristic influences.
