REVIEW: Jody Wisternoff - The Bridge feat. Sian Evans out on Anjunadeep

Anjunadeep mainstay Jody Wisternoff drops "The Bridge feat. Sian Evans", his first single of 2015 following last Autumn's “Paramour”, a stand out single from the iTunes chart topping ‘Anjunadeep 06’ compilation.

'The Bridge' is a Wisternoff classic, fusing lush melodic arrangements with dancefloor grooves, with a subtle touch of old school UK sound thrown in for good measure. Sian Evans of Kosheen provides ethereal uplifting vocals.

Shur-i-kan is on remix duties following his Anjunadeep debut 'My Love' which picked up massive Radio 1 support from Pete Tong, Annie Mac and Danny Howard earlier this year. He roughs up the melodic arrangement in favour of a clubbier, more dancefloor focused direction.

Dimitri Kechagias review: I need to investigate for sure what is going on in UK and this beautiful magical island brings so many talented producers to the world. There must be a secret behind the ability of those talented people like Jody Wisternoff who always manage to capture your senses and make you feel that you are on board for a bumpy ride of self reflection and self discovery. His latest track The Bridge is exactly what Jody can compose and give you a spiritual make over. Its deeply esoteric lonely track with summery melodies, synths and xylophone melodies that create this luscious mesmerising atmosphere. The vocal is used more as tapestry rather than being at the forefront and cover the beauty of the melodies. On the same mood for something classy and deeper moves the stunning Shur-i-kan who knows what it takes to deliver something completely irresistible but very close to the spirit of the original. The beats are chunky and break beat like, the bassline has 90's old school touches while in the breakdown it starts with the cinematic strings that raise the hair from your neck and make you wonder how he can top up this feeling and he managed to do it with the ethereal vocals and the very danceable but also relaxing main part that has a nice drumnbass aesthetic to it! Better don't be afraid and lets pass the river that divide us through this emotional bridge! #PureGold Love it
