REVIEW: Heatbeat & Bjorn Akesson - Pharaon out on FSOE Excelsior

Swedish producer Bjorn Akesson teams up with Argentinian duo Heatbeat for Aly & Fila’s more progressive, counterpart label creation - Future Sound of Egypt Excelsior.

‘Pharaon’, bundled with a stunning original and majestic remix from Nhato, will tear the dance floor apart with its dirty bassline and an iconic Akesson-melody, worthy of its comparison to the Egyptian rulers of the desert.

Dimitri Kechagias review: The explosive Argentinian stars Heatbeat collaborate with Bjorn Akesson for the magnificent anthem Pharaon that is included on Heatbeat's long player Global Monster. The track is an energetic prime time monster anthem with aggressive vicious basslines, puncy pounding drums and hints of electro style sounds. The breakdown is the moment that this Egyptian ethnic style melody comes at the surface to create magic and uplift your senses and transfer you instantly to the mythical era of Pharaoh. The climax is euphoric but on the playful tech trance direction that Heatbeat and Bjorn like always to take their productions.  Nhato is on remix duties and his version moves on the same pathway of energetic powerful headbanging electro trance that works on mainstage trance sets. Electro influenced basslines, pounding drums and distorted sounds are building the tension towards the breakdown. Here the ethnic style vocal comes to the forefront along with travelling atmospheric sounds followed by crazy rave style synthy hooks that lead the track to its rocking and shaking climax that simply rocks. When this record will be played you can expect the unexpected! #PureGold Love It
