Dimitri Kechagias review: The ultra hot Brighton duo Ben Prok and James Fitch, better known as Prok & Fitch are back on Tiger records via Toolroom records with their outstanding Raw Cut EP including Little Dance and Raw Cut. If you search for the ultimate deep house weapon that brings back the old production values of the authentic pure house sound don't even consider to look any further. Raw Cut is an energetic deep tech house weapon with dark pounding basslines, infectious rhythm and hypnotic groove while on top they add some cool synthy lines and haunting strings. Their main little melody works perfectly to lock your mind and keep you dancing and moving around while you whisper and shout the spoken vocal sample "Don't know why this is happens to me." Exceptionally produced dancefloor bomb to crack up your sound system. Little Dance on the other hand is an equally hypnotic silky deep tech house smasher with much more upfront groove, cool female vocal sample that has nice funny edge as well. Prok & Fitch combine simple and basic house elements like well rounded percussion with dark edgy wobbly basslines, live crowd noises and superb textures and they come up with a winner track that has dancefloor impact written in its DNA.
