"Jubel" already in Germany was a huge success, where it held seven weeks at number one on the charts. Even the radio Klingande was able to climb to the top, iTunes occupied the track # 2. But he has since made a name for itself as a huge international smash hit, reaching number one in 30 countries. Its popularity spread around the world, holding on for weeks on the charts and has sold over 1 million copies.
"With 'Jubel' I wanted love, happiness, and this summer feeling to bring people," said Cedric. "I like working with the saxophone, because it is a powerful tool with a warm sound, which can express different emotions."
The name Klingande and "Jubel" has become the artist borrowed from Swedish because he loves the house music of the country as "jubilation" stands for the pure joy and "Klingande" means "sounding".
Klingande was founded in December 2012 by Cédric Steinmyller, a 24-year-old musician from Croix in northern France.
Cédric learned as a child music theory, devoted himself as a teenager but the electronic music. Initially he worked as a DJ, but soon began to tinker with his own productions. After spending a year at a music school in London and tried on his own productions, he returned home, where he in 2013 with a friend "Cheers" and "Punga" produced and published.
Klingande has spent much of the year 2014, with tours throughout Europe, the USA and Asia. "Punga" was the last hit single, which was released in Europe - another track that Cédrics characteristic House-meets-saxophone sound presented and online also enjoys a large fan base.
Klingande still plans to release this year more singles and an EP, including the new remix of Alex Adair, published on 17 January and the title of Make Me Feel Better (Klingande Remix) bears. On February 3, also published Klingande a remix of Aviciis single "Divine Sorrow", featuring Wyclef Jean, and on April 17 is "(Restart The Game) RIVA" appear with the French singer Brokenback the new single.
Even with RIVA (Restart The Game) fans do not have to forgo Kling Andes typical moods and melodies, but he is instead of the saxophone at the sound of the harmonica. "Riva" is Swedish and means "seize" a title that fits well with the lyrics of the song.
Cédric is the only core member of Klingande and is spending most of his time between platforms, aircraft, and his studio in Lille in northern France. Additional property on a tour of Europe, the Middle East, South Asia, Australia, the UK and the USA for Klingande in the coming months.
Be sure to stay tuned - 2015 is huge !!
Dimitri Kechagias review: Klingande is one of the biggest revelations of 2014 that's for sure and he manage to change the whole idea that we had about France that is all about Disco House and Daft Punk. Klingande delivers with his single Riva(Restart The Game) relaxing vibes with his tribal drums, punchy deep basslines, cinematic strings and beautiful guitar riffs along with harmonica that sounds absolutely magnificent as it adds that sense of authenticity, originality and connects the track with country/folk routes. The vocal is brilliant too by Broken Back. With lyrics are mesmerising and the whole ethereal production will get club and radio plays. Electronic pop with deep house elements to keep the crowd hypnotised on the dancefloor dreaming of a better world! #PureGold Love It
