James Egbert is known for mixing things up, crossing genres and discovering new sounds in the process. At times this track is electro, at other times it has a distinctive breakbeat feel.
The only box you can put ‘Jettison’ in, is the box of awesomeness. As this track changes seemingly endlessly, it just seems to go from strength to strength. Absolutely huge tune right here.
Dimitri Kechagias review: The beloved record label Armada Trice continues to deliver highly flammable explosives for the dancefloor! The latest track is Jettison by James Egbert and you rightly guess that is a massive mainstage weapon that any festival and big room house dj is obliged to play and create mayhem on the clubfloor. It starts all chunky and groovy and very soon reaches the first breakdown that this massive rock guitar riff is unleashes to send you higher than the sun. The drop transforms the track into a wild beast that bangs, shakes and moves super fast to create the ultimate maddening experience. The 2nd main breakdown is very surprising as the rock guitar riff is supported underneath with Prodigy style breakbeat. The final drop is more proghouse friendly with the main riff working perfectly with the electrified freaked out foundation of angry basslines and pounding drums. #PureGold Love It
