REVIEW: Shadow Of Two - The Journey out on Monster Pure

A stripped backed and groove based production is on the menu as rising UK progressive heads Shadow Of Two notch up another luscious treat. After wowing the masses on Paul Van Dyk’s VANDIT and Paul Oakenfold’s Perfecto imprints, it’s out turn to get a slice of their audible delights.

Returning to the duo’s roots ‘The Journey’ delves into the classic Anjuna-esque sound of the noughties and well and truly resurrects it for 2015. Boasting epic trance chords a plenty, a chunky rolling bottom end and an appetizing trance piano for good measure, this one is like a little ray of sunshine!

Dimitri Kechagias review: Monster Pure stands for quality trance music that shines from every side or corner you listen to it. The latest release that stands out comes from the upcoming trance duo Shadow Of Two from UK that everybody out there talks about and mention them as the next big thing. The Journey is a wonderful melodic progressive trancer that most of all has musicality, originality and gives you the reassurance that everything will go alright. Packed with sunshine, positivity and optimism the track manage to carry you away instantly as your mind drift away somewhere in far away seashores and your body dances with hands in the air. With that classic deadmau5 progression, melancholic piano melody on top, relaxing themes, luscious plucks and euphoric synthy lead in the breakdown, the Journey offers you an experience that you will not forget easily. Loud and proud enough for the big festivals but peaceful and rejuvenating at the same time to enjoy on Sunday afternoon.  It's one of those cases that the title describes so well the content. It's all about The Journey after all as long as you can take it till the end of it without fearing obstacles and negativity that you may find. Love it
