1. JP Lantieri Remix
2. Brian Laruso Remix
Dimitri Kechagias review: First of all I must say a huge thanks to Magic Island records for introducing me to the exceptional artist and soon DJ the beloved Greek Othon. His music is truly inspiring and the original mix of Japan Suite is one of those melancholic cinematic tracks that you listen again and again on repeat mode. The sound textures, the silences and the fantastic violin are simply out of this world somewhere to outerspace I guess. You close your eyes and you are moving towards a better life and certainly higher consciousness. Musicians have an exceptional gift and Othon is one of them highly connected with his spiritual side. Magic Island Deep delivers two outstanding remixes that get the original chill out and turn it into danceable electronica of the finest quality. First of all JP Lantieri adds his deep minimal haunting basslines, tribal chunky lazy relaxing drum programming while on the breakdown he reveals the superb violin melody and the rest of the great instruments you listen on the original. Slowly dark and mysterious acid line is added as well that pushes the track to a new territory and he then moves in the slower subbass part that brings the violin in the surface that is floating, warm and tender. The beloved German producer Brian Laruso transforms the original into a magnificent dreamy deep trancer that applies the excellent percussion of the original and makes a very clever groove out of it. The breakdown is outstanding with the melancholic violin coming to the open while underneath trancy synths are added that lead the track beautifully to the main dreamy section. The main breakdown is even longer with addition of more magnificent synthy layers that will give you goosebumps. The climax is floating and manage to capture your imagination and captivate your senses. It's a music vision of a better peaceful creative world. 100% quality. Love it
