Seattle based ODESZA have set the dance scene alight over the past 12 months, with their second album “In Return”. The LP received widespread critical acclaim and global support, racking up no fewer than 10 Hype Machine #1’s. Add to this their impressive touring schedule, including an appearance at Coachella, and it’s clear that the duo are something of a phenomenon.
One such fan of the band, Anjunadeep’s own rising star Lane 8 aka Daniel Goldstein reached out and asked to remix his favourite track off the album, “Bloom”. ODESZA and their label Ninja Tune obliged and the result is a rolling house anthem, harnessing the potent atmosphere and pop-infused hooks of the downtempo original, bringing it effortlessly to the dancefloor.

His already going strong with his single releases and remixes for other artists like ODESZA with the magnificent Bloom. Lane 8 brings his great ability and transform the original into driving melodic travelling deep house journey packed with exotic rhythms and exotic dreamy vocals. Playful arrangement, warm strings, cinematic touches and the eyes and ears on the dancefloor makes this very special track one of those little precious records that you play in your set and everybody asks the title of it. When something is unconventional, unique and surprise us we are unable to put it under certain category or to explain it more than truly magical. It's inspiring deep melodic dream house with electronic influences and depth and warmth that you can not easily found on many tracks out there. Of course when you have an excellent original is easier for the remixer to come up with something extraordinary that simply crawls under your skin, brings goosebumps and at the end of it you are sure that you went through something strange but you are not sure what this is all about.
