REVIEW: Nick Winth featuring York - Blue Sun/Cold out on Planet Love recordings

When York discovered Nick Winths production in his mailbox, he was impressed by the dreamy feel of his productions. He guided him to his beautiful first release on Planet Love Records. The Result is a dreamy, quality trance release - still playable in a peak time set but not cheap and noisy. The harmonies of both tracks are very touching. York also contributed some of his signiture guitars on "Blue Sun" and gave it his special touch.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Planet Love records is the top imprint by Torsten Stenzel aka York one of the most influential producers in the modern electronic music culture. York continues his great collaborations with new talents. Now is the turn of the newcomer Nick Winths with two very strong tracks called Blue Sun and Cold. Cold is Nick himself and he delivers dreamy melodic balearic progressive trancer with punchy driving basslines, techy chunky grooves and excellent melodic themes the track carry your mind to a magnificent mental journey. Emotional synths, dark industrial haunting influences in the background and breakdown that is long and inspiring with great harmonies, chopped vocal samples and great build up towards the hypnotic anthemic climax.  You can sense from miles away the high class values on the production of this track. Next is the massive Blue Sun that is deep emotional driving balearic summery trance with sunkissed melodies, haunting voices and the classic signature romantic acoustic guitar riffs from York that transfer your mind to your favourite golden seashore. If you like to relax your mind and escape while you dance above the sky don't miss this release. #PureGold Love It
