Dimitri Kechagias review: Ferry Corsten is a true pioneer who can be proud that he change electronic music with his innovative, forward thinking and revolutionary ideas. He is definitely ahead of his game and his Hello World EP reaffirms that without doubts. First is Back To Paradise featuring Haris that is offered in two mixes. The Original mix is a powerful hybrid of progressive house with epic progressive trance. Great ups and downs with melodic dreamy breakdowns and euphoric hands in the air climax. The vocal by Harris is absolutely essential to elevate the track to the next level and help the crowd to identify with it. If you search for the classic progressive trance sound Ferry Corsten delivers his Flashover Mix that is epic euphoric big room trance at its very best with the vocal used just in the breakdown followed by euphoric hands in the air climax that will drive the crowds insane. Make It Ours features the vocals by Chris Jones who simply never fail to impress with his outstanding voice. The original mix is a mainstage epic prog house track with Hardwell touches to it. The melody in the breakdown has certain sadness to highlight Chris Jones performance. The main synthy riff is memorable and can cause riot on the dancefloor straight away. So be careful when you drop this great anthem that includes some very nice guest vocal parts as well. The Flashover remix is the more straight forward progressive trance version with great additional melodies and rave style main synthy hook that will drive you wild. Bouncy rough drums, heavy smashing basslines and great breakdown that is calming and truly sensitive. The drop is so loud and proud that big room crowds will adore it so watch out for some serious addiction going on. Tonka is the next one and here Ferry Corsten goes back to his electro trance roots and comes up with memorable epic synthy hooks, electro infused intro and chunky cranky groove. If you search for the perfect bridge tune between prog house and prog trance choices maybe this old school vintage prog trancer is for you. Last but not least the beloved Angelika Vee is on vocal duties for Beat As One. For this track Ferry goes for a clean, crispy epic swedish prog house style anthem with pulsating basslines, punchy drums, refreshing synths and great breakdown with Angelika doing her magic! Absolutely must have EP from a true legend. Our respect Mr Corsten! Love it
