REVIEW: ilan Bluestone - Tesseract / Lighthouse out on Anjunabeats

The sky truly is the limit for ilan Bluestone. Having metranomically topped the Beatport charts throughout 2014, gained regular nods from dance music's elite including Pete Tong, Above & Beyond and Armin Van Buuren, and performed around the world including New York's Madison Square Garden, the London based producer shows no signs of slowing down with his first double A side of the year - "Tesseract" and "Lighthouse".

Echoing the weighty electronic elements that made 2014's "Spheres" such a hit, "Tesseract" is another heavenly prog-trancer. With an intense chiming topline ringing out across shimmering ambient layers and punchy low end, "Tesseract" erupts into a vibrant and volatile double drop - arguably ilan's most expansive production yet.

The opening ID from his Group Therapy 100 set, "Lighthouse" is a deep, slow burning club record with a beautiful orchestral motif at its core. Highlighting ilan's talent for emotive instrumental composition, a gnarly groove gives way to a heart wrenching melody for yet another instantly ear catching release.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Anjunabeats is the first trance label in online sales on Beatport. The same success applies on other download portals as well. Anjunabeats is the sound of the future now and one of those prophets of the future today trance meets house sound is the brilliant ilan Bluestone. The talented star discovered by Anjunabeats has released so far EP's mainly with tracks that are played frequently by wide variety of djs. His latest EP Tesseract and Lighthouse will have the same recognition, respect, love and support by his dj peers. Tesseract is a powerful slow burning progressive anthem with chunky techy grooves, pulsating electro infused basslines, superb synthy themes, heavenly vocal samples and playful energetic rhythm that simply make you want to dance instantly.  The breakdown is chilling and calming until the massive synthy hook comes slowly to the surface along with very emotional piano melody in the background and in truly epic anthemic style drives the track to its headbanging roof raising climax that is funky, in your face and melodic too. Lighthouse is offered in two tastes. The Intro mix starts with awesome filmic theme that lasts for 3 minutes.  The piano theme at the beginning is merged with airy pads and warm synths. The perfect start to your dj set that will make many heads turn towards the dj booth wondering what is going. The beat is wonky, rough, edgy and the drive will energise mind and soul instantly. The Club mix is perfect to use as peak time weapon particularly if you want to continue in techy groovy trance atmosphere. Great epic breakdown is followed by crunchy bass focused climax to keep the dancefloor sweating all night! 100% Above & Beyond approved anthem. Love It
