Coldharbour Recordings is back in action for another year, and launches with a bang in the form of Skypunch, the latest destroyer from Fisherman & Hawkins.
Dutch duo Isaac Vissers & Rob Koopmans have developed the trait of yielding go-to tracks for many livesets, with their Underworld original and remix of Markus Schulz & Lady V's Winter Kills Me winning many plaudits.
Skypunch continues in similar vein, debuted by Coldharbour's don during his headlining performance at Transmission's Seven Sins event in Prague.
With a busy stretch ahead of festivals and Miami Music Week, Skypunch packs plenty of ammunition for those energetic, crowd-shifting moments.
Dimitri Kechagias review: Coldharbour recordings is one of the most recognisable brands in electronic music. The latest release comes from the Dutch duo Fisherman & Hawkins who deliver dynamite that will explode on your dancefloor near you and is called of course Skypunch. Its superb composition that will do big damage with the tough raw and aggressive basslines combined with punchy pounding drums and dark sinister industrial synths. The breakdown is the golden moment that the massive colourful rave style distorted synthy riff is unleashed to bring damage followed by the floating breakbeat sequence until to reach the full on and in your face climax that the anthemic synthy theme drive the proceedings into oblivion. When you listen Skypunch in a club the only reaction you can do is to start screaming like mad, waving your hands in the air and enjoy the moment because we only leave once and life is too short. Skypunch is a trance Godzilla size anthem guaranteed. Love It
