What better way to kick off 2015 than with a Juventa EP? The Dutch star made 2014 a year to remember with sterling releases spanning both the trance & progressive house spectrums and exploring more filmic arrangements in his 'Culture Flow’ EP. 2015 is primed & set to be the biggest yet for the talented producer and kicking things off in style, we introduce a 5-track EP named ‘Kinetica'.
Following suit with the aforementioned ‘Culture Flow EP’, ‘Kinetica’ shows Juventa’s sublime ability in making a cohesive body of work, but this time from floor rocking, electro-tinged progressive house, as the EP flows from start to finish in stunning style. Opening with the atmospheric, driving intro 'All And None', showing pure audible intricacy as its flared basslines & chopped synths rumble throughout, the EP moves onto the widely supported SHWDWN – a true stand out production, championed by the worlds DJ elite.
Next up, is the aptly titled ’Torque', with those darting synths, a delicate strings mid-section & Juventa bass by the bucket-load which make up this energetic number which is following in SHWDWN’s footsteps, by already featuring in numerous top DJ's sets.
'Woolloomooloo’, previously heard on Juventa’s Enhanced Sessions Volume Four, is finally available as part of the EP. A driving record which provides flexing bass lines & gritty FX provides a heady climax, before the proceedings conclude with the all-together slower 'Walking’ Outro which rounds off the EP and provides an accomplished & complete finale to this outstanding release.
Juventa starts the year with a bang, this is Kinetica EP, as supported by Tritonal, Hardwell, Paul van Dyk, Nicky Romero, Gareth Emery, Ferry Corsten, Dyro and many more.
Dimitri Kechagias review: Enhanced Recordings had an incredible 2014 with some absolutely mindblowing releases. 2015 starts with a big bang and the beloved Dutch producer Juventa who proves that he is able to come with the goods always and he slowly evolves into one big star. Enhanced recordings is there to nurture and assist him to achieve his aspirations and his Kinetica EP is definitely a solid move forward for his career. It includes two chill out/leftfield tracks and three magnificent high class big room progressive house smashers that have all the right elements to get support from diverse artists from big room trance to main room house sound. SHWDWN is a powerful high class smasher with aggressive electro infused basslines, pulsating pounding drums, old school vocal samples and acid layers as well. The track sounds like the 2015 equivalent of "highest state of consciousness". The breakdown is brilliant with epic violin themes, distorted vocal samples and massive euphoric feel good synthy stabs that explode to the top and raise the tension until the manic maddening drop comes in to continue rough and uncompromising. Torque continues on his fast and furious big room house sound with razor sharp basslines and swirling mindboggling synths that push the track forward with bass/dubstep style influences in it. The breakdown continues the small trancy feel good sequence with euphoric hands in the air synths and epic anthemic feel that unites the dancefloor as one. The drop continues on the same dirty, moody, greedy and grumpy style perfect for some bodybanging. Woolloomooloo is an excellent brave attempt to go out of focus and smash together elements of trance, progressive, electro, dubstep highly influenced from Mat Zo sound. Loud and proud with perfect melodies and heartshaking beats Juventa does his best to keep all the ears focused on him. The track All In One can be used as an intro in your prog house set with cinematic themes, abstract drums and basslines while Walking is the perfect outro set track with melancholic moody piano melody, filmic strings and travelling breaks to carry away your senses. #PureGold Love It
