REVIEW: Nora En Pure & Sons of Maria - Uruguay, The Remixes out on Enormous Tunes

The successful collaboration between NORA EN PURE & SONS OF MARIA has been released in its original version in August 2014. With support by Pete Tong, Above & Beyond, EDX, Tiesto, Radio BBC1 just to name a few, the track made it also on top of all relevant download and streaming chart. The melancholic touch of the violin section has been reaching a wide fan base, and so we didn't think twice when it came to organize a possible remix package.

Maurizio Colella aka EDX delivers the first remix. His interpretation leaves the epic feel of the original but still takes a proper club compatible direction. Pumping beat patterns and crispy chord progression, just the way we like it and appreciate his music.

The guys from DBMM contribute with an uplifting and powerful deep house remix. The strong dedication to the details of organic textures and synth build-ups, the producer and DJ team comes up with a fresh remix that for sure will perfectly match in your next DJ set. As a special bonus mix CHRIS REECE aka PASSENGER 10 delivers a modern electronica version with lots of glo-fi textures and organic breakbeat fragments that harmonize with an unbelievable pureness to the unique stems and melodies of the original version.

Dimitri Kechagias review: 2014 was Enormous for the beloved label Enormous Tunes from Switzerland. High quality deep house, nu disco, indie dance releases through the year raised the profile of this label that is considered as one to watch and check out whenever you search for high class electronic music that the dancefloor will adore. The last release for this successful year comes from the adorable female dj & producer Nora En Pure and the project Sons Of Maria. Their track Uruguay returns with the well deserved remix package that will surprise you for sure. First of all EDX is on remix duties and he does his best to impress us with this Dubai Skyline style remix. Deep melodic house with exotic sounds and references from other music cultures merged with cinematic strings, flute riffs, piano chords and summery emotional trancy synths. The result is an outstanding atmospheric journey that is very enjoyable to dance the night away with it. It make you feel warm, relaxed, lazy and very inspired as well. EDX has his own unique sound and that is so difficult to keep doing when every producer jumps on the next trend to become successful. So we are glad he stays faithful on his EDX roots. DBMM remix is very eclectic as well. Their remix has flow and hypnotic groove that you feel that it takes you for a journey. Emotional strings, vocal samples, romantic vintage synths, exotic vocal samples and magical soundscape that makes you feel like being inside the track and great things happening to you. The climax is much more upfront and groovy with disco-esque bassline that has drive and energy to keep the dancefloor moving and shaking. Last but least Passenger 10 delivers the most surprising remix. He goes towards an electronic chill out lounge direction with abstract grooves, experimental elements, superb percussion, vocal samples and fantastic application of the original sound layers. I can not imagine even one chill out compilation in the next months without this mouthwatering remix with classic Orb touches here and there. #PureGold Love iT
