REVIEW: Lee Osborne & Allen Watts - Alcatraz out on Monster Pure

The boys are back in town and they’ve brought along some fierce artillery with them. After the roaring success of their debut collaboration ‘Telepathy’ gaining support from some of the scene’s finest, the dynamic duo follow up with another splendid slice of trance.

Much like its predecessor, ‘Alcatraz’ is a full throttle power packed production led by an anthemic “hands in the air” hook, which is amply backed up by a snappy, swirling acid line and served on a bed beefy bass!

You won’t be able to escape ‘Alcatraz’.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Monster Pure presents the second chapter of the collaboration between the magnificent Lee Osborne and the Dutch trance meister Allen Watts. Their brand new track is called Alcatraz and we deal here with a straight forward pure trance uplifting anthem with superb solid foundation of tough techy drums, edgy kicks, energetic driving basslines and acid overtones as well. The main melodic theme slowly is revealed with small hints in the first section before reaching the breakdown that the main theme is exposed to its full glory repeated many times from variety of synthy plucks, piano chords, epic uplifting synths and intense build up that teases and excites the crowd until the classic drum roll comes in to lead the track to its full on hands in the air feel good climax that will definitely offer the much wanted relief and right pay off moment that will bring any club crowd a little bit higher to the next level. Alcatraz is pure and simple uplifting as we wanted to BE! #PureGold Love it
