‘Shelter’ is yet another breakout single from Dash Berlin’s “We Are (part 1)” album, the track is carried by piano, Roxanne Emery’s powerful vocals, and minimal but brutally effective instrumentation.
The freshly baked remixes by ‘MaRLo’ and Photographer translates this beautiful ballad to the dance floor. Goosebumps? You better believe it!
Dimitri Kechagias review: Dash Berlin's latest album We Are (part 1) is packed with fantastic singles. One of them Shelter that includes the hair raising vocals by Roxanne Emery appears with its club friendly remixes. First of all is the beloved MaRLo who is considered to be one of the coolest producers. He stays faithful to his personal sound that is big room trance at its best. Bouncy tribal drums, aggressive in your face basslines, trancy voices, sharp synths and warm strings along with Roxanne's brilliant vocal performance. The breakdown is glorious with piano chords, epic strings and Roxanne's performance that will crawl under your skin and touch your heart strings. His climax is full on hands in the air with euphoric feel good synths and intensity to the maximum. Photographer from his side does exactly what he knows best. Pounding banging drums, energetic driving basslines, metallic atmosphere and aggressive acid overtones. The euphoric colourful synths appear on the top to add energy along with the melancholic touching performance by Roxanne. The breakdown is characterised from the emotional right and exact classical music influenced piano melody. The huge anthemic synthy leads runs underneath and slowly comes to the surface to energise the proceedings and lead this gorgeous track to its fabulous climax that is the perfect pay off moment for any trance set. Truly euphoric and hands in the air straight to the point pure trance that will bring Dash Berlin back to his trance roots. #PureGold Love iT
