Night Safari is the brain child of uber producer D.Ramirez and songwriter Bnann Infadel, former frontman of electronic rock band The Infadels.

Dimitri: Can you mention your biggest achievements in your music career in 2014 and your personal life if it is something that you wish to share with our readers?   

Night Safari: Setting up our new band Night Safari , then our first release Night Franlin on Zulu Records receiving plays on radio by Danny Howard , Oliver Heldens , Max Vangeli , Sick Individuals and the Futuristic Polar Bears.

Dimitri: 2014 was packed with releases from so many different styles, which Electronic Music style you believe is the absolute Electronic Music Style Of 2014 in the mainstream indifferent if you like it or not. Why you believe this style became so successful in 2014?   

 Night Safari: Future House because you can't hold back either house music or the future.    

1) Best Track:    
Night Safari: David Zowie 'House Every Weekend ' the vocal is so cheeky and direct its a masterclass in simplicity!  



2) Best Artist (Dj & producer):  
 Night Safari: We love everything that Jonas Rathsman is doing , love the fact his basslines are different which have become his signature.

   

3) Best Remix:   
Night Safari: Tom Rowlands remix of  Klaxons 'Love Frequency',  it has silence in it which is actual genius !!!!   



4)Best Remixer:   
Night Safari: MK, he is consistently great at turning an average tune into something simple and sublime.    



5) Best New Talent (Dj or producer):   
 Night Safari: Oliver Heldens because he took the D.Ramirez sound into the future.  

  

6) Best Electronic Music Album:   
Night Safari:  Caribou 'Our Love' as with this album he has reinvented electronica and brought it back to being an art form.    



 7) Best Lyrics in an Electronic Music track:    
Night Safari: Zhu 'Faded' when it came out I was so gutted I didn't write it as again it’s such a fun and rebel lyric plus everyone wants to sing along to it !!!

   

8)Best Vocalist/Singer featured on Electronic Music track:   
Night Safari: Beth Aggett has been totally original and has an amazing tone, we even had the pleasure of working with her !!  



 9) Best Electronic Music Label:   
Night Safari: Dirtybird , cos they so Birding Dirty !!! and everything they release makes you think again about electronic music.  

  

10) Best online Funny video related to Dance Music:    
Night Safari: Richie Hawtin getting apparently arresting for getting irate with a lady requesting and pushing the monitor speaker on top of her in retaliation.  



 11) Best music composition software:    
Night Safari: Logic X.   

12)Best Event or Open Air Festival:   
Night Safari: Secret Garden Party.    

13) Best country that you have visited to perform with the most up for it crowd:   
Night Safari: Brazil because they so up for the party they make you realise life is beautiful.    

14) Best Radio show:   
Night Safari: Annie Mac still so on it and ahead of the game plus we can’t help but love to hear her vibes as she comes across as someone who's genuinely in it for the passion and gets excited by it all still.   



15) Best Online Record shop that you purchase your music:  
Night Safari: Beatport because it's always forward thinking and you can find everything you need in one place.   

16) Best Dj equipment (software or hardware):    
Night Safari: Pioneer CDJ 2000 as it’s revolutionised the way we DJ and we can carry all our entire record collection on a single drive!   

17) Best new sound or sample that has been used in Electronic Music this year perhaps introduced first by you?   
Night Safari: Maceo Plex - the breakdown in 'Conjure Bellaria' is like something from live at Pompeii by pink floyd and it makes your world turn inside out.   



18) Best piece of advice you got in relation to your career in 2014:  
 Night Safari: Make stand out records, don't follow - lead !! 

 19)Best hobby or activity that you spent a lot of time in 2014:   
Night Safari: Skateboarding although I've have had a few accidents as well.   

20) Best Movie of the year preferably related to Electronic Music that may inspire you to compose a track:   
 Night Safari: Interstellar is without doubt the best movie of the year and definitely makes you wanna take your music into space.    



21) Best piece of News you learnt this year related to Electronic Music Culture:  
 Night Safari: The launch of Kuvo, we could get paid from all our club plays finally and also we can see who's playing us out all around the world .

Dimitri: Finally, 2015 is ahead of us would you like to tell your plans with your future releases, tracks, albums, collaborations, Dj gigs.
